Spring is a season for renewal and growth. At The Folded Flag Foundation, we hope to renew many of the 2017 educational scholarships we were able to provide to 131 Gold Star spouses and children to secure a future in honor of their fallen loved ones. We also hope to grow the number of scholarships granted to some of the thousands of spouses and children who we have yet to help – and who could use our support, both financially and emotionally.
The foundation’s ultimate goal is to connect with each one of these family members. Doing so, however, means raising $5 million in annual fundraising to cover the projected need of $100 million over the next 20 years.
