2022-23 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PERIOD NOW OPEN
The scholarship application period for the upcoming 2022-23 school year is now open. We are accepting applications now through May 16, 2022. If you are applying for a summer school scholarship, please submit your application by April 15. For questions, contact scholarships@foldedflagfoundation.org.
This year, we are happy to also introduce the General Montgomery (Monty) C. Meigs Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to one individual who demonstrates the outstanding characteristics of Monty Meigs, former Folded Flag Board Member. To learn more, click here.

GOLD STAR FAMILY SPOTLIGHT: KOBY SCHILD
Koby was six years old when he lost his father, Army Sergeant First Class Robert Schild, when he was killed in action on December 4, 2005, in Iraq. Koby is now in his final year of trade school for HVAC.
“A Folded Flag scholarship allows me to focus on my studies without having to go massively into debt or constantly have to be worrying about money,” says Koby. “This is an amazing foundation and I’m so thankful to the staff and the donors who are able to make this possible.”
FLORIDA FUNDRAISER RECAP
We were thrilled to join our Board of Trustee member, Jim Stallings at the recent fundraising event at TPC Sawgrass in Florida this past February. During the event, guests heard from Gold Star spouse Jennifer Zellem and her son Tanner as they shared their story about how The Folded Flag Foundation helped them obtain their academic goals. We raised more than $50,000 for our Gold Star families and 100% of the donations received will go directly to the families we serve. A special thank you to Jim Stallings for hosting!
