The Folded Flag Foundation will begin accepting scholarship applications for the 2021-22 school year beginning March 1 through May 15. For those applying for summer school, applications are due April 15. The scholarship and grant opportunities offered by The Folded Flag Foundation are for both Gold Star children and spouses and help to cover the rising costs for K-12, college, trade school or post-graduate school.
For Gold Star children in K-12, the scholarships can cover the cost of private school tuition and fees, tutoring, after-school programs, summer camps and/or other related educational expenses.
For Gold Star spouses and/or children (under the age of 26) can cover the cost of college, trade school or graduate school, including the cost of tuition and fees, books, computers, living expenses, tutoring, test preparation services and/or career preparation expenses
In 2020, we were able to award more than $1.5 million to 359 scholarship recipients across the U.S. In 2021, we hope to keep expanding and keep awarding those who have lost so much.
If you are interested in making a donation to help fund educational expenses for a surviving spouse or child, please visit the donation page here. Because of our generous underwriting sponsors – Black Knight, FIS, FNF and ServiceLink, 100 percent of all public donations go directly to providing these scholarships.
